The staff at Interfaith Ministry of Calhoun County is an award winning group of women with the focus to better their community and themselves by putting their best foot forward everyday.
Their love for their community, each other, and their clients is what makes IM a successful non-profit. So please, take a few moments to read about each one of these empowering women below, and see how they each have helped their community in their years here.
Staff Bios

April Lafollette
Executive Director of Interfaith Ministries
April joined Interfaith in 2008 as a volunteer with Christmas Clearing House. As the current Executive Director, she oversees all programs and networks with our community to extend the agency’s mission of “Bringing God’s People Together to Serve God’s People in Need”. April loves to travel with her husband of 31 years and her two children.

Julie Edwards
Co-Director of Emergency Assistance and Meals on Wheels
After volunteering at Interfaith in data management for several years, Julie was hired to assist as Co-Director of Meals on Wheels in 2011. Julie also assists in the Emergency Assistance program and any other program as needed. A wife and mother of 4 for over 30 years, Julie is used to juggling.

Kathy Gaines
Director of SenioRx Program
Originally hired in 2001 to work Christmas Clearing House, Kathy moved into the Receptionist position for both the ARC and Interfaith Ministries under former director Nan Christian. Kathy was the receptionist for a short while before moving into a SenioRx position where she remains to this day bringing free prescriptions to the uninsured and underinsured of Calhoun County.

Hillary Folsom
Financial Director
Hillary joined Interfaith in June, 2020. Having worked in non-profit healthcare, government contracting and the private sector for nearly twenty years, she sees the value of the many services provided to our community by our agency. Hillary has a Master's degree in Public Administration from JSU. She and her husband have two very active boys. Hillary serves as the Financial Director for Interfaith.

Devon Hudson
Emergency Assistance Coordinator
Devon holds a Bachelors of
Social Work from Jacksonville State University. She recently became a licensed
Bachelors Level Social Workers (LBSW). She began volunteering in February, 2020. Devon says she was planning on being at Interfaith for a few months, but fell in love with the clients and staff, as well as the mission of serving God's people.

Nancy Hunnicut
Co-Director of Meals on Wheels
Nancy has been with Interfaith Ministries for five years, all as Meals on Wheels Program Co-Director. As the daughter of a career Air Force officer, Nancy attended 8 different schools in 12 years. This experience gave her the enjoyment of meeting and dealing with people from all walks of life, which is vital to her work. In her spare time Nancy can be found walking at least one of her five dogs and caring for her three cats!

Shanna Scott
Director of Adult Dental Clinic
Shana joined interfaith in early 2019. Shana has 20 years in the dental field; after taking an eight year break to focus on her health, she stepped back in. Helping people improve their health by means of dentistry has been a passion of hers. In her off time she is a mother and grandmother (Mur) to her three children and two grandchildren. Shana loves to make other people happy, whether it is by feeding them, having a smile to greet them with, or helping them find their own smile.

Mary Jane Peters
SenioRX Program
Mary Jane taught Computer Science at JSU until she retired in 2007. She previously volunteered at the American Red Cross for several years and currently helps with the Children's Market at FUMC Jacksonville. At Interfaith Mary Jane enjoys using her computer skills to maintain records and to aid the SenioRx program to help clients who are dealing with high drug prices.
