Interfaith Ministries was established in 1975 by representatives from local churches and Temple Beth El to serve people in need in Calhoun County. Together we provide assistance and serve as an advocate for individuals and families in crisis. Our mission is to foster interfaith cooperation and understanding as we provide a caring environment for people of all ages and socio-economic levels.
"Bringing God's People Together to Help God's People in Need."
This is the mission of Interfaith Ministries, Inc. We are an organization dedicated to serving those people most in need in our community.
- Through our many programs, we help the homeless and assist others in avoiding losing their homes.
- We help those without the resources get dental care and essential prescription medications.
- We offer a blanket, a place to shower, and a place to get their mail delivered.
- We deliver hot meals to homebound elderly and disabled.
We are proud of our community, and this is shown through our continued dedication to our homeless.
“Our Open Door Program serves our homeless community as they visit our offices for showers, coffee, snacks and just a safe place to be. The program relies totally on donations. Here is a list of items, of which, we are always in need. Please see if you can help supply some items for our Open Door.”
