“The Open Door” is a program of Interfaith Ministries that provides a caring environment for persons who are displaced or homeless.  We provide snacks, coffee and water in the mornings.  We can help people with Greyhound tickets to relocate to live with family or start a job in a new location.   We assist in obtaining identification for getting housing or employment.  Some use our address to get mail and have access to a phone.  Showers with fresh towels, toiletries and a change of clothing are available twice a week.  Sometimes a bottle of water and a place to rest out of the elements is all that is needed.
